Kenilworth Court can be found on the Lower Richmond Road, near Putney Bridge, right next to the River Thames in south-west London, as you’ll see from the map below. It’s actually large enough to have 4 postcodes all to itself! SW15 1EN, SW15 1EW, SW15 1HA and SW15 1HB.
Putney itself is a thriving town, with good shopping and transport links and a wide range of quality pubs and restaurants, clubs and cinema. Enoteca Turi and Chez Bruce (Wandsworth) and The River Café (Hammersmith) rank amongst the best in London. Ma Goa, the Royal China, Isola del Sole, Emile’s, Thai Square and Blades are also all fantastic quality restaurants. The Half Moon pub now has an excellent brassiere too and some of the best bands (7 days a week), the Jolly Gardeners is great and the Bricklayers Arms (adjacent to the Court) keeps winning ‘best pub’ awards. Putney Bridge tube station, on the Wimbledon branch of the District line, is a 6 minute walk away. East Putney Tube station is 10 minutes and the Putney main line railway station, with regular services into London Waterloo, is about a 7 minute walk up the High Street. Heathrow Terminals 1, 2, 3 & 4 are, depending on traffic, about a 40 minute drive and the same by tube. Heathrow Terminal 5 and Gatwick Terminals are about 50 minutes by car, rail or tube. The Thames River Taxis leave Putney pier opposite the Kenilworth Court gates and offer a 50 minute service for morning and evening commuters to and from Blackfriars stopping at Wandsworth, Chelsea, Cadogan and Embankment piers.
